The event, which is sponsored by Laugh and Live Well and the Waverley Council, involves laughter exercises, rhythmic clapping, deep breathing techniques from yoga and playfulness followed by a laughter meditation and guided relaxation. It will run until March 25, 2017.

2. Built Environment Meets Parliament
“The New Great Australian Dream: How to deliver quality urban living? Built Environment Meets Parliament (BEMP) NSW” brings together key players from the business and government sectors. The event, which will be held on August 11th, is a forum on presenting new information and insights into how people can create better urban environments. The Minister and Shadow Minister for Planning, Chair of the Greater Sydney Commission, and Chief Executive of Urban Growth NSW among others are expected to attend the event.

3. NAIDOC Blak Markets at Barangaroo
Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2016 at Sydney’s new Harbour Foreshore Park! The event will be held on Saturday, July 9th and will feature outdoor markets, entertainment, and tours of the Barangaroo Reserve. Event participants will be treated to a day of free live music, traditional Aboriginal dance performances, bush tucker, cooking demonstrations, weaving workshops, shell workshops and markets showcasing Aboriginal arts and crafts.

4. Northside Produce Markets
If you’re looking for the freshest produce or artisanal products, then be sure to check out the award-winning Northside Produce Market. Every first and third Saturdays of the month, you’ll find the beautiful Civic Park in North Sydney teeming with the best produce from local growers and artisan food producers. It’s also one of the best places to have breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The market, which opened last month, will run until the 17th of December.
